Dental Recommendations?
We are getting ready to take Jones' to a new dentist for consultation for his proposed surgery and I just don't know where to take them. Because of our dental insurance, it seems we can't him to some children's dentist offices such as "Under the Sea", "Dr. Lubisich", and "Adventure Dental." I am hoping to find a safe loving environment for him so he can feel comfortable there during the possible many appointments or surgery that he will have. Do you have a good family dental you could recommend?

Erin, we have LOVED Dentistry for Children...Dr. Shebani. They are AMAZING! I even asked if they would take ME as a patient! They are on 164th...sort of by Chipotle. I have my first apptment at Wendel Dental in 2 weeks. I'm pretty sure they do children as well, and I've heard wonderful things about them...I'm going for me. The kids love Shebani, their hygentists are so friendly, the waiting room is like being in Disney. My kids don't want to leave, and they do AWESOME prizes. Plus, they're quick...my kids both go in at the same time, so I'm not there for hours with one kiddo after another being seen. I honestly can not say enough about them. I was so impressed, that I sent them a letter saying how appreciative I was of them and how fantastic they were. If your insurance doesn't cover them, they do have great payment plans and even take a percentage off if you don't have insurance. Good Luck! Hope this helps!!

I wish I could recommend someone to you Erin. My dentist graduated dental college in 1952. He is the nicest guy ever and makes scared people feel really comfortable. However, going into his office is like walking into a time warp. I think his dental chair and equipment are original to his practice. He even has a spit bowl like on Finding Nemo. You seem like a pretty hip lady that would like the newest procedures done. So I will hold back from recommending him to you. ;)
Erin I take my kids to Bright Now! Dental in Salmon Creek and they are so great with the kids. They have an area for the kids to play in and a prize machine for them when they are done. They were so patient with Owen when he was really scared and let him warm up and take a "ride" in the chair. They have a newer and very clean office and their rates are really reasonable compared to others when I called around.
